My Project
My students are some of the bravest, kindhearted, special (cute) students around! Each personality is special and unique. They are my inspiration and they have my heart. Unfortunately, my students don’t understand the emotions they feel which is a barrier for them being able to socialize/ communicate what they maybe feeling.
What this project will help me do is provide them a curriculum, on their level, to explore emotions and social skills.
My goal is that each student will be able to identify each emotion and understand how they relate to them.
My students are served in a Title 1 school. They all have various disabilities that impact them cognitively, functionally, verbally, socially, and even physically. They all have individual successes and we celebrate them as a family!
