This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have been identified as having a learning disability. Our school has a belief that all students can learn when giving the proper tools.

My students have been placed in small groups for intervention.

In order to provide each student within the group an opportunity to experience the

i pad at the same time, it is important that they get their individual i pad along with a protective i pad case.

The kids are so... excited about using the ipads. At this present time there are two i pads within our class, which do not afford the other students within the group to have access to the i pads. I service students within the Learning Center and we only have a limited time to complete a small group assignment. Having an i pad for each student will give the individual student time to complete given assignments. Most of our students do not have access to an i pad/internet service at home, so this will help them to improve their technological skills.

I like to give each students the opportunity to experience the feel of hands-on with the technology of the 21st century.

My Project

The use of technology will prepare the student for the future to be able to work independently as they are engaged in active learning.

Through the open door of technology, our students will be well prepared for the challenges placed upon them throughout the school year.

The i pads will help students search the internet for multiple meaning words, take reading comprehension quizzes, and play educational games.

The i pads will give students access to class-wide activities as a whole.

With the students that are served, having an i pad will give them an opportunity to experience hands on with technology.
