Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a wonderful school with students from variety of backgrounds and cultures. My students know that the most important thing, aside from academics, is building character.
We strive together as a classroom family to build character within ourselves so we can go out and give the community our best selves.
Each of my students have amazing strengths and as their teacher I strive to continue to help them reach their potential as human beings!
My students not only have the potential to build amazing character, but they also have the potential to become better readers and writers!
My Project
Everyday I have an opportunity to make sure students are given proper strategies to help with reading. Although my students are at different academic levels, I have an opportunity to meet their needs to help them succeed!
By providing my students with these materials, they will fall more in love with the magic of words!
Students will use these materials by engaging themselves with building words using hands on materials. They will then transfer those words to writing, which will help improve their reading!
These wonderful materials will help show students that reading and building words can be fun and engaging!
