My Students

In my class, students have the opportunity to challenge their brains in new ways that extend far beyond the limits of a traditional classroom. Students in my class have been identified as gifted and talented, which means they have high intellect and perform well in traditional academic areas.

My students really enjoy having rigorous opportunities in our gifted classroom, to take them to that 'next level' of learning that they deeply desire.

They love having opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, and math and literature in unique, interesting ways. These students are highly motivated to acquire new skills and work hard when new opportunities are presented to them.

My Project

Students who are learning both in school and at home can enjoy these classic works of children's literature. Both Roald Dahl and J.K. Rowling write whimsical stories that have enraptured young readers for years, and I would love to increase my classroom library with more copies of these amazing books. In our class, students have an opportunity to earn medals for completing "The Roald Dahl Challenge" and "The Magical Challenge". Having some additional copies of these books will go a long way in helping more students achieve their goal of earning these medals. Thank you for helping me develop life-long readers!
