My Students
Our School is a 3rd year, beautiful school. We are so excited to continue to build a school and classroom community, but we really need basic materials in 5th grade.
We are a new school without a lot of basic materials.
As of right now, there are 22 students in my 5th grade class. In our school, we have some students from low income families and some students who are coming from wealthier families. We have a very diverse population at our school and are very excited to continue this new school and build not only a classroom community, but a school community.
My Project
I am a third year teacher, at a third year charter school and we are in need of some basic materials to help our classroom function at its full potential.
These basic materials will help my students reach their goals and dreams in my classroom.We need materials like paper to make our lessons and crafts more colorful and engaging for the students.
Also, the easel will help with flexible seating. I will be able to move about the classroom with the easel so students can sit on the floor and we can use it during centers. In science and social studies we do a lot of anchor charts, and so the large sticky notes will help us be able to keep the charts up all year.
