My Project
This grant is for six small but mighty little orange robots called Edison. The addition of six robots will make it possible to have students work in pairs instead of groups of three or four. The extra parts also allow students to create a robot that doodles. The students will learn how to code using Blocky, Scratch, or Python. The ability to program on three different platforms provides differentiation of instruction in a middle school classroom. Students can start programming where they are comfortable and move on to the next level.
