This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Young learners sparked with curiosity to engage with the learning is my favorite part about teaching Kindergarten. I teach in a building with high percent of language learners and low socioeconomic status. We are seeing an increase of special education students as well. The need for hands on learning centers are essential to supporting their learning.

Learning is at its best when students can be physically moving items to engage with the content.

I believe these center activities can help enhance the environment for my kindergarten students to thrive in.
