Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a spirited bunch of sprightly sprats who are inquisitively energetic learners, and many are not native speakers of English.

My students are inquisitive, energetic, eclectic, global learners needing resources to help them gain a love of reading and establish a culture of literacy at our campus.

Pre-existing lower-income and socio-economic demographics are considerably aggravated by language and cultural barriers. Nevertheless, students are eager to learn and divest themselves of previous woes. This funding opportunity will help supply some resources and bolster equitable access to education that connects them to a global community of learners free from linguistic barriers.

As a dedicated, technology-oriented educator, I merely seek resources to support students in such a direction to diverse the learning process and opportunities.

My Project

A spine-tingling thrill of a read helps get the senses alert and awake. Please help us grow our library's horror and suspense books that our current collection is lacking to be more comprehensive to engage our young readers.

Our small library collection lacks the thriller and horror book titles that our students are constantly requesting, so please help us develop a horrific library that our students love.

The students desire a good thrill and this project helps get them highly rated titles to get involved with literature and cultivates an interest in the love of reading for the next generation of readers (and maybe even writers).
