Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, we focus on STEAM programming. and building and engineering is a large part of STEAM. These items will help my students so that they can use their gross motor skills and critical thinking in order to embrace an imagination of their own. It is critical to expose children to LEGOS at an early age. Although, LEGOS are often seen as toys; they are more than that. LEGOS provide students a way to to learn while also allowing students to have fun engineering their creations. When students experience a sense of joy while learning it makes the learning experience special. I am certain my students will put the LEGOS into good use. They are very bright Preschoolers who are very curious about the world around them; they love to build structures and get very happy once they have seen what they could do with their little hands and their creative imagination. I will love to give them the learning experience all students deserve regardless of their economic status. Therefore, I am reaching out to all of you who want to make a difference in a child's educational journey!
