This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember how hard it is to focus sometimes, especially for boys? This can be a big problem with all the academic demands. My distracted and wiggly students will truly benefit from having a stress ball to squeeze during lessons.
They are great boys and girls who work hard in school.
The school provides a great opportunity for students to find success. It is a public school for students in kindergarten through grade eight. It is located in NYC. There are approximately five hundred students in the school.
My Project
I am requesting stress balls to help students focus better! When I taught third grade, the students were provided with stress balls. The students were encouraged to use them during mini lessons and during read aloud time. It helped the students learn how to focus better keeping their hands busy. It was extremely effective with the boys.
The donation of stress balls will contribute to students being more focused in the classroom.
The students will be more involved in the lessons and will show initiative to be focused in the classroom.
