Help me give my students basic materials such as Post-it notes, staplers, and folders to help our classroom run smoothly and stay organized!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Cuozzo's classroom raised $164

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The school I work in is in a high poverty area. The school itself allows for the scholars to have ample opportunities with technology. My class is a general education classroom. The scholars are on all different academic levels that range from pre-emergent to above grade level. The scholars are from low income families that are either living in public housing or in shelters. School supplies are difficult to come by. Most supplies are supplied by the school or myself.
My Project
With the Post-it easel pad I will be able to prominently post anchor charts to help the child with their reading, writing and math skills. When students have visual aids there is no limit to their learning.
Since 1st graders are learning the basics of reading and writing, the anchor charts displayed will be useful in helping them write while not getting frustrated.
The laminating pouches, dry erase markers and folders allow me to create reusable learning centers that the students can access time and time again. When there are rules that are displayed on chart paper the students have a reference they can use to successfully complete an assignment.
Someday, possibly, one of my students will be a NASA scientist or a New York Times Best Selling Author.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
