This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our class is learning what it's all about to be caring, kind, compassionate, and joyful learners. We are exploring so many new things in third grade, including multiplication, writing opinions, how to be scientists, and discovering what it means to be a trusting friend.
I am looking forward to shining a light on the beauty and joy of being a child through new books for our classroom library.
Our students have been under a lot of stress since the beginning of COVID-19, and I hope these stories can remind them of the unique joy and feelings we experience as children.
