This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have an energetic kindergarten class! The students in my class are caring, respectful, curious, and enthusiastic about learning. I am a bilingual teacher on a campus where most of my students come from low-income families. More than a third of our students are English language learners. Our campus is located at the south tip of Texas, right next to the border wall.

My students are faced with many challenges in and out of the classroom daily.

My students are exceptional, with a unique set of qualities and needs. We are a great team! They enjoy playing and learning together and helping each other be the best they can be.

My Project

For our class, we are requesting a Cricut Joy. My students will use the Joy to create flashcards, learning games, and posters for our classroom.

These projects will allow my students to show their creativity and use technology to create some great things!

We will use the Cricut app to create our projects. Students will choose the font they like best and select a color that will encourage their project ownership. My students will have a lot of fun and learn many new ways to use technology. We will make our classroom a fun learning environment.
