it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school has spent the last few years trying to build a culture that supports creative expression and confidence in our students. We have been working hard to get our kids comfortable enough to take risks and try new things. Our budding drama department was finally able to produce our first one-act play this year, and it's caused plenty of buzz around what our plans for the future are.
This is where you come in; we need your help in gathering materials for next year's production of "The Internet is Distract—OH LOOK A KITTEN" by Ian McWethy.
The following items are vital for transforming our cafeteria (which is our performance space) into the setting for our show to help our students feel proud of the work they have created. There are some strange props needed in this play. Due to vendor restrictions within our school district, DonorsChoose is our only option for procuring them! We need a pinata, poster boards, a lamp, a cane, coffee cups, and a yoyo! Help us get the right tools for the job!
