My Project

Most of all these materials will help my students with their fine motor skills. As a school, we do a lot of play-based learning which allows students to learn through play while having those important conversations with their peers. I asked for items for dramatic play like a barber shop kit and hair stylist tools. This will allow students to also make connections in their community, but it will also help them start thinking about the many possibilities of careers they can have. I have requested sorting boards to help with color recognition, counting to 10, and pattern recognition. My main goal is to get materials that my students will use every day and since this is my first year of teaching, I don't have all the funding to buy these materials myself. I am asking for materials that I can reuse for many years so many students can benefit from it.

As a kindergarten teacher, I am honored to be a part of this crucial stage in their lives, helping them lay the foundation for future learning and fostering a love for school.

They approach each day with fresh eyes, eager to explore new concepts, make friends, and discover the world around them. Every small accomplishment, from recognizing their name to mastering a new color, represents a significant milestone in their development.
