The Indoor Recess Rescue

My Project

Recess is a time for students to collaborate, problem-solve, think critically, and engage with their classmates. Board games, building blocks, card games, and more can help strengthen these skills when North Carolina weather does not allow us to go outside each day.

My goal with this project is to build an indoor recess space that my students can work on these skills, without the presence of their laptops.

The students are on laptops consistently throughout the day, so these games can give them more options during the indoor recess timeframe, and et them away from the screens.
