The Importance of Conservation For Future Generations
My students need books to be inspired, educated and fully aware of the importance of the protection of our planet, animal habitat conservation and wildlife.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My pre-school students are children who are three to five years of age. My school is in sunny San Pedro, California. The children from San Pedro come to school each morning ready to learn and grow. There's never a dull moment in our class; my students are busy bees moving from one interest area to another. They're eager to learn, explore, and experiment with the instructional materials and centers I set up for them. We need instructional materials in our classroom to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.
My Project
Tomorrow's leaders need to be educated and equipped for tomorrow's challenges. Conservation is not just important for animals but to all living things, that's why I'm committed to educating, inspiring and providing the tools for my students to become environmentally conscious people. The complete set of animal, wildlife conservation and Earth books will help me teach and connect my preschool students with nature and conservation, fostering their knowledge of caring for our land and animals. My students will learn to protect habitats and natural areas like rainforests to prevent damage to our world. Shout out to Tom's of Main for providing the tools to teach young students and to help heighten their interest in environmental habits that will help prevent further global warming and extinction. Protection of our planet is imperative!
