This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager to learn and explore every day during our reading and math block. As kindergartners, it is important for them to use hands-on learning activities lets student mind grow and learn. They come to school each day ready to try new things!
Giving the students the opportunity to learn content in various engaging hands-on experience will support them by making learning more meaningful and fun.
I want to give my students who come from different cultures, areas, and various incomes an opportunity to learn and thrive in kindergarten.
My Project
Hands-on learning is the process of learning by actually doing and experiencing something, rather than just being told about it. I want my students to be able to learn from observing, and experimenting with their hands. All the games I am asking for, will help my students to explore and build on skills taught in whole group lessons. Every child learn in a different way. By incorporating this games in their individual literacy bins it will help them to build on their fine motor skills, and engage the different areas of learning.
