Help me give my students materials to help them understand the relationship between writing and the spread of ideas. We need Blick Blue Easy-To-Cut Class Pack.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Fields's classroom raised $269

My Project
Our students have been studying the history of writing systems from ancient cuneiform wedges to Gutenberg's printing press. We'd like the opportunity to practice writing in some of these different mediums.
How people communicate has an impact on the ideas they wish to spread.
For my sixth graders, this project is a great way for my students to use the information they have learned about Mesopotamia, Hammurabi's code, and the Sumerians to create clay cuneiforms using plastic sculpting tools.
For my seventh graders, this helps reinforce the impact of printing. They learned about printing methods developed in China and the impact of Gutenberg's printing books in Medieval Europe.
This project is for a Blick Blue Easy-To-Cut Class Pack.
More than half of students from low‑income households
