The Happy Birthday Bag

Help me give my students that are free and reduced lunch receive a birthday bag on their special day! This bag will include everything they need for a simple birthday party at home with their families! Thank you!

My Project

I teach at a Title 1 school, more that 50% are low SES. The is project provides students and their families with a birthday bag. This bag includes everything to bake a cake, a personal birthday card, party plates, and some birthday treats for the special student.

The bag is presented to each student as a gift.

For many of our students the supplies to bake a cake are unavailable, the bag has everything to bake, decorate, and enjoy a birthday cake. I had a very positive response this year and can’t wait to expand to even more next year!

Please help me celebrate ALL students on their special day!
