Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year has been very challenging for our students, their families, and every student. Covid-19 has changed the way we do our celebrations in school. I wish to give my students a celebration always to remember. This year they have worked hard to get where they are, and giving them the gifts they deserve and the festival they will never forget will help them achieve other vital goals when moving up. The books in this project will help them continue to appreciate and love learning to read. They can show their loved ones what they have learned this school year and prepare them for kindergarten.

Reading is a way to build knowledge and appreciate books and literature in everyday life.

The books and easels in this project will help my students continue to love literature by reading and writing the words they find in books. This project will also make their first or last year of preschool the best year they have ever had and deserve. The sash and cap are for the students moving up to kindergarten to feel proud of their accomplishments during their two years in preschool. All the students will receive books to reinforce their love of reading and various gifts and decorations to make their graduation day even more special. The frames and awards will be a unique gift they will cherish.

We look forward to making this move-up day one of the many happy days they will never forget.
