The Great Paper Chase!

My students need paper! Paper to draw on, to paint on, to think on, and to dream on...and sadly, we are out of paper. We need construction paper, nylon brushes, and watercolors. Thank you for helping us follow our dreams!!

My Students

In my Art room, we are masters of the ocean as we create seascapes with chalk pastels. We leap through the stars exploring far away lands with conte crayons. We explore life underground in watercolor resist.... In my Art room, we are always exploring, always learning.

My students are interested and inquisitive learners.

Our school is a wonderful Title One school which I am proud to be a part of. I am constantly working to inspire my students. I bring in ideas and media from around the world just to get my students wondering. I want them to be excited about life and the world around them!

My Project

My students need paper for everything! Having paper just for Art class will give my students a sense of accomplishment. They can feel like their work is something to be admired, to be cherished, and even to be hung on the wall. It will give them a firm surface to paint upon, a colorful palette to build with, and the knowledge that even they can change the world through Art.

I know my project will make a difference in the lives of these students because Art education transforms lives.

The Arts allow children a safe place to explore their ideas and try new things. This spirit of exploration will encourage them to solve the problems of tomorrow. Thank you for your help!!!
