My students were introduced to the digital world in 2020. They were given the responsibility to care for a chromebook. Charging stations in the classroom will provide students with a place to charge their chromebook and keep it safely housed. The charging stations will help the students be responsible for putting away and charging their own chromebooks. In previous years, my students have charged their chromebooks using wall outlets with extension cords. This has proven to be a hazard as many have tripped and fallen over the cords resulting in injuries. A charging station will prevent injuries in my class.
