My Project
My ambitious 8th graders have big dreams and the work ethic to make them happen. Our upcoming “Touch the Top” unit will provide tools for setting and achieving personal goals. By fueling their drive with resources that enable organization, creativity, and rewards for efforts, this project seeks to set them up for success.
The storage caddies, colored pencils, and bulk journals will allow students to visually map goals, brainstorm creative solutions, and reflect on growth.
The standing lamp creates a relaxed hub for self-motivated reading of inspirational biographies profiling determination. The laptop charger guarantees no tech barriers as they research role models and TedTalks on grit and resilience. Even the treats serve an important role, as tasting sweet success along the journey.
Already demonstrating impressive determination, this group needs only the right fuel and direction to ascend to their full potential. With guidance and resources to organize their visions into action, I’m confident they will blaze trails towards their highest aims.
