My Project

This project is to help young children focus on being a kids. Often our children’s needs are neglected and overlooked. As an educator I see it all and I want to change that. Working with non verbal and no communicative students is not easy but it’s so rewarding! My autistic scholars are showing so much growth it amazes me! However with have certain “abilities” comes certain struggles. I have scholars who only eat certain things only want certain things. Unfortunately I don’t always have them. This will help fix that. By providing the needed items (snacks) it lessens the stress on me trying to provide items. A lot of times we take from own to make sure our babies have what they need. This project will help make it easier to provide calming non stimulating outlets/options.
