My Students

My bright and talented first-grade students attend a Title I public elementary school in California. The students come from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, with needs as diverse as their backgrounds.

My classroom is a wonderful mix of intelligence, enthusiasm, and curiosity.

These hard-working students come to school each day excited and ready to learn. All students are welcomed and celebrated part of our classroom community. Let's work together to help these students reach their fullest potential!

My Project

Have you ever read a book and been taken away to another place? I want to provide this experience to the students in my class by having books for them to read that are filled with characters they can follow along throughout a series. I want to give students the chance to learn about the world about him!

Books with wonderful characters will take my students on adventures that take place in aquariums, baseball fields, ice cream shops, and bike rides.

Furthermore, it will teach them all about animals, historical figures, and the world around them!

Having these books will help them to grow and love reading even more than they already do!
