Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I encourage my students when solving math problems to draw the problem or build it using manipulatives. My students rely on the support of manipulatives to help them answer more complex questions. make it more concrete because the students can see what is being explained. Math manipulatives will make it easier for my students gain confidence when doing their work.
This will help all my students see the math and be engaged.
The manipulatives will be used for centers, whole group instruction, small group instruction, as well as, during one to one instruction. These math manipulatives will provide students with a hands-on learning experience.
