it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In this project, we will learn about the geometry of abstract art and bring some math and science into the art classroom. This project will feature the study of art history, looking at how artists like Picasso, Kandinski, Delauny and Af Klint used shapes, lines and colors to communicate abstract, and lofty, ideas. Students will have the opportunity to do the same!
Each student will create two paintings using canvases, acrylic paint and brushes.
We will use the pens, pencils and erasers to plan our ideas in sketchbooks. This project will include a wide range of ideas from math vocabulary, art history, and ideas in modern art. It is bound to generate an exciting gallery of paintings.
