The Gear Affects the Game

Help me give my students some basketballs to help them advance their skills.

My Students

I work in a small rural town at a Title I school. The majority of my students qualify for either free or reduced lunch. My students might be considered disadvantaged by some, but they have big dreams.

We were recently approved to be a STEAM school.

While this is a huge blessing and opportunity, we also hold a huge responsibility. We hold the responsibility of making sure our students are able to compete in a world that is driven by technology.

My Project

Last year, my athletes received used equipment from a school that was generous enough to give. While my students are forever grateful, the balls were not in the best shape. Proper sports equipment can be very costly. Unfortunately, my students attend a school that can only provide proper equipment through fundraising and donations.

Studies show that the proper sports gear can give student-athletes a huge boost in confidence.

The additional basketballs and other equipment will be used in practice and games.

Help me build this athletics program by funding this project for my students. Help build their confidence and increase their skill level.
