Help me give my students the opportunity to interact with other children and build vital social skills. They will learn how to follow rules, take turns, be a gracious winner, and respond appropriately when they lose.

My Project

I teach special education elementary students with a variety of significant learning and behavior needs. Despite their differences, they all need to learn how to play and interact with appropriately with others. Playing board games teaches them skills.

By playing games, children learn social skills to help build their confidence, self-esteem, and how to engage with others while having fun!

Due to the recent pandemic, students have missed out on opportunities to learn how to play with other children. Games are such wonderful tools in teaching children life's important lessons.
