Help me give my students the opportunity to make their math learning fun using board games that give my students the opportunity to practice their math topics such as Set (Theory), Integers, and Solve (IT) Equations through games.
Our students are the best in the city. We are in an urban school district, but our students strive to reach their fullest potential. We are a neighborhood school with an international population that stretches over every continent.
My students are driven to be successful and are motivated to learn.
They enjoy being creative in the displays of their knowledge. As a school, we celebrate our many differences and learn from each other's experiences. We try to make all voices heard and encourage all students to take an active role in their education.
My Project
My students enjoy working together and finding new ways to explore their math understanding. They look forward to being able to apply their math knowledge to new and different situations outside of their math textbooks.
By playing games, my students will solidify their math understanding while also learning soft skills like good sportsmanship and working together.
These games such as Solve It and Sequence Numbers were picked with the math specific topics in mind so that students can continue to work on the learning while playing.
Students love being able to play games in class. By having more games available, more students can participate on a regular basis.
