This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom consists of students with disabilities ranging from Intellectual disabilities, OHI, Autism, and Epilepsy. Our school is a low-income disadvantaged Title l school.
The school was impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
We were displaced to another school. The teachers, administrators, students, and staff are very thankful to have a place to go and continue the learning process. Despite the challenges that we face, our students continually smile and give us 100% every time.We continue to strive for the best.
My Project
These materials will have lasting effects on my student's lives and will be used throughout the learning curriculum with all subjects.
The Little Scholar Tablets will benefit every student's curriculum, and will effectively raise student goals and objective 100% mastery during Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies Centers.
They will make a great impact and improve student outcomes.
The Language Game Library, Phonemic Awareness Games, and Fishing for Literacy Carpet will allow the students to demonstrate knowledge and skills learned and improve student achievement in a comfortable environment during the learning process.
We are faced daily with overwhelming challenges that affect student's and their parents. They want the best for their child and sometimes can't afford the resources. I know that these materials will improve school performance and provide much success in the coming year.
