My Project
We have 180 students enroll in Stagecraft and Advanced Stagecraft classes each year. We continually look to add practical experience in the classroom which will lead them to a successful career in Stagecraft at the High School level and beyond. So far, each unit has helped them develop skills across the multiple facets of Lighting, Sound, and Costuming.
Next year, we seek to expand the curriculum to include Set Design.
By utilizing Magna-Tiles, students will be able to craft scalable 3D replicas specific to a performance's production needs. Students will be able to build models and learn to pitch ideas by coming up with creative design solutions for the stage.
