This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We all need to work together to save this planet, and artists are capable of more than just contributing- when we work to upcycle materials into works of art, we beautify the world around us and inspire countless others!

Using glass that has been donated or rescued from landfills, and tumbling it in a rock tumbler, we can turn trash into treasure.

After emerging from the tumbler, all the sharp, broken edges will be polished round- just like sea glass! From there, the possibilities are endless: sparkly landscaping gravel, jewelry, light catchers, wind chimes, and more!
