This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My second graders are energetic, curious, and always eager to learn, and I want to keep that excitement growing. The treats and small prizes I’m requesting will help motivate them to stay focused, work hard, and reach their learning goals in reading fluency and math. These rewards will turn big tasks into fun challenges and encourage them to keep trying, even when something feels hard. My goals for this project are to help my students build confidence, stay engaged, and develop a love for learning by celebrating their efforts along the way. What makes my students special is their kindness, determination, and enthusiasm — they cheer each other on and take pride in their accomplishments. With these rewards, I can make learning even more exciting for them and show them that hard work really does pay off.
