Too often, we do not empathize and understand our peers. By using index cards, sharpies to write neatly, and colorful markers to decorate, students will create mini self-reflection index cards to introduce themselves. They will talk about their fears and anxieties; their hopes and dreams in French, anonymously and in a controlled environment.
Together, we will share and hopefully this project will not only be fun, but will foster compassion and empathy among our classmates.
After we present, we will continue to be mindful of each others differences and remember that difference’s make us unique and special.
