Items like the craft box and plastic bottle will be used to make tools to help my students deal with their anxiety and trauma.
These activities will help lessen the sting my students have experienced due to lost loved ones during the COVID-19 Pandemic and secondary losses, such as income, housing and nutrition.
Students will create items such as memory boxes, sensory bottles and breathing tools to help them deal with the anxiety they experience daily
As they create these tools they will engage in trauma focused lessons on healing and coping with loss. This will give them hope for their future and a better outlook for learning.
