My kids don't know beyond our small town, there is a big world out there filled with opportunity and promise. I teach at a school with one of the highest rates of free and reduced-price lunches in the state. On a daily basis, I am trying to teach kids, while also addressing some of the most basic social, emotional, and nutritional needs that you would expect the home to be meeting. I love the kids I teach. I feel that I make a real difference in their lives.
My Project
My kids have LOVED science this year! The only problem is I don't have enough materials for them to fully explore our magnetism unit. We need magnets of all shapes and sizes to experiment with and see for themselves how it works.
We would benefit from these magnets because my kids crave to find out how things work and discover the wonder of magnetism.
If you donate, every kid will be able to participate at the same time. No more waiting and then not having enough time for everyone to explore. They will be able to experiment at the same time and enjoy science.
