Please help to make our meeting area more comfortable! Right now, we have a 5-year-old carpet which is filthy. I am afraid I must get rid of it for this school year, as I do not want my students sitting on such an unclean rug.
Our rug has been professionally cleaned and is unfortunately beyond repair.
This year, I will be teaching a class of 32 gifted and talented first graders. They need a comfortable place to have our classroom meetings. I work in a school that has recently suffered huge budget cuts. As a result, it is becoming harder than ever to receive the resources that we desperately need.
My Project
My students need a comfortable place to meet and read! Unfortunately, due to the nature of my five-year-old rug, I cannot provide it to them. I am hoping that you can think about a 6-year-old sitting on a cold and hard floor in the classroom and open your heart to these incredible students.
Please help to make my students' year in first grade as amazing as it can be.
