My Students

My 3rd graders are bright, inquisitive, and tender-hearted. They are thoroughly enjoying being in the classroom after two years of online, homeschool, and hybrid learning. Because these children were in first grade during the beginning stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, they have missed critical literacy skills.

With your help, I can fill in the gaps the coronavirus pandemic has caused in my students' learning.

These kids were dealt a bad hand, it is not anyone's fault they are behind. It is just what happened because the world was trying to navigate uncharted waters. We can create life-long learners together; these tools are the first step. I have no doubt that we can help these kids get to where they need to be to meet grade-level standards by the end of the year.

My Project

As a teacher, I am constantly trying to create lesson plans that engage my students. It is easier to have them retain the information I am giving them when they can follow along with printed materials. My school is only able to give me a limited amount of copies each term, after that, the copies come out of my pocket.

This project will provide printed materials for my students' lessons in the classroom.

With your help, I will be able to have the materials I need to plan memorable lessons for my students. The ink will help refill my personal printer and the colored cardstock will help me create reference tools for my students. Because I want these materials to last for a long time, I will also need to laminate them.
