Help me give my students the ability to create a family board game library to bring togetherness, kindness, and fun to homes in the community.

My Project

I am seeking your support for a student-led community service project called "The Family Game Library Initiative." In this project, my students will create a board game library for local families to borrow from, promoting family time, happiness, and togetherness. The students will take the lead by selecting games, organizing the library, and developing a system for checking games in and out. They'll also host occasional game nights to introduce families to new games. Through this experience, students will gain leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills while giving back to the community.

The game library will benefit both our school community and the surrounding neighborhood.

Many families may not have the resources to purchase board games or find family-friendly activities that bring them together. This project will help provide families with fun, screen-free entertainment that encourages quality time and strengthens bonds.

To make this initiative possible, we are requesting donations to purchase a variety of board games, family activities, and other resources. These materials will allow my students to manage the game library effectively and ensure it remains a lasting resource for the community. Your contribution will directly support student leadership and provide a valuable service that brings joy and connection to homes.
