My Students
The students at SES have a vast array of knowledge and interests. They all strive to have an impact on the world in their own way! The middle school students at SES are a very loving and caring community. They are constantly striving to learn a new skill and put it on display for their community to see.
Even though Covid-19, students have never lost sight of their goals.
They have continued to adapt and overcome various obstacles to obtain their individual goals. Even though the hardest of times, these amazing students at Snyder Elementary have continued to strive, accomplishing goal after goal.
My Project
Being a Title I school, many students do not get a chance to experience the vast array of STEM. They do not have the funds at home to experience such activities and are not able to travel to see some of the amazing things the world has to offer.
I hope to inspire their curious minds to the wonderful world of STEM that they may never get to see otherwise.
The Oculus Quest will allow the students to see other parts of the world as if they are standing in the midst of it! We can create and paint in 3D, and we can learn together how 3D viewing and programming can and has changed the world we live in.
The 3D pens will allow each student to envision an object in their minds and create it on their desks. We will use the pens in our scaling and geometry lessons to further enhance their understanding of the concepts. Each pen will inspire the students to be more creative and allow them to express themselves in a way they have never been able to before!
