My Students
Hello, I'm a SETTS provider at my school in Bay Ridge Brooklyn NYC. SETSS is specially designed and/or supplemental instruction that follows each grades academic curriculum. My students are wonderful kids who are eager to learn. Many students in the school are military children because Fort Hamilton is right down the block. Teaching military children is unique because of all the stress of a father/mother being deployed. I strive to help reach each students academic goals for the school year.
In order to better build my students tool set for general education classrooms there are essential materials I need to make learning interesting and fun.
My students are eager, warm, & hard working. Please help me to help them. Thank you.
My Project
Hello, my name is Mrs. G and I am a SETSS (Special Education Teacher Support Services) teacher for grades Kindergarten to 8. I teach ELA and Math in Brooklyn, New York.
My students are my life and with that being said I always try to have an abundance of supplies in my classroom.
I usually spend my own money buying various supplies for my classroom because I know the families I teach do not have the time or money to buy the essentials their child needs to thrive in while in school. Students learn in many different ways and having these supplies such as colored copy paper, colored post-its, crayons, markers, and pencils will bring academic excellence to all.
I hope this project gets funded because my students are bright, loving, and caring children who are eager to learn. They make my job as an educator easy because of the motivation t;hey have when they enter my classroom. Please help me make my class a supply heaven for these children. Tank you!
