This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are the best because they are not forced to participate in this sport, yet they willingly dedicate endless hours to mastering their craft. They are passionate and undeterred by the obstacles that life throws at them.
Dedication and persistence are two of the attributes that describe them perfectly.
Our students come from all walks of life creating an atmosphere that is unlike any other. They are all united into a single vision which is improving in all aspects of their lives daily!
My Project
Over the past year my students had to endure sub-par materials while training. We are looking to improve the conditions of our students environment. It is essential that we provide our athletes with equipment that is at the very least in-tact and not in desperate need of repair.
The bags and high-step ropes will enhance our practices significantly!
We are hoping to say goodbye to the days of scavenging for suitable objects in our garage to complete our scheduled drills. Ultimately, this will elevate the experience that us as coaches and mentors will be able to give to our pupils.
