The Earth and Beyond

My students need a telescope, a planets videolab, an inflattable solar system model, and a star finder in order to enrich and aid student learning over the text I present.

My Students

The EARTH and BEYOND! Although my students have a wonderful textbook, they always seem to learn more when there are interactive materials to supplement the text. The telescope, solar system model and star guide will open their minds and take them further than the text ever could!

My students are extremely diverse in their socioeconomic, religious and cultural backgrounds but they all get along well with each other and are very compassionate.

We are a very small school district so, most of these kids have been together for years. Poverty is a major issue in our district. School is not only required for these children but in most cases is an escape outlet. Many of my low-income students are like sponges and absorb all that they can in order to better themselves.

My Project

My students need the supplies I have requested in order to explore the Earth and our Universe, the required lessons could be fun and educational! With the materials I have requested, I hope to enable my students to think beyond our community. I want them to know there is a whole world and universe out there waiting for them to explore. My students will be able to track stars, explore our solar system, understand how planets were created and so much more.

Students are always excited to learn about the solar system and any additional material I can provide for them would be extremely valuable.

It is nice to look at the pictures in our textbook but, it is a totally different level when you can actually view a star or planet through a classroom telescope!
