My Students
Hello from my 5th & 6th grade classroom! Where we are all working hard on our own individualized goals. Our classroom is full students with their own unique strengths, enthusiasm, humor, determination, creativity, and kindness to name a few. We love science experiments, fidgets, and games! The 5th graders are full and energy and the 6th graders are buzzing with exciting about going to Middle school.
All students, not just in our class but within the whole school accept one another's differences and help each other to reach their goals.
We are apart of school that celebrates inclusion and diversity. Here we spend our days working hard and laughing together because ya know, learning is fun!!
My Project
Help me provide new headphones for my class. Our current set is less than ideal. Some are falling apart while others don't even work at all. None of my students choose to use the headphones that are working because they are hardly functional. The headphones will be used when we are doing our individualized learning on Lexia and i-Ready. Lexia helps support phonics instruction and gives students independent practice on basic reading skills. i-Ready provides personalized math instruction aligned with Common Core State Standards and supports the needs of all learners.
