The Eagle Care Room-Crafting for Wellness

Help me give my students the consumables and crafting tools they need to start practicing wellness strategies at school and at home!

My Students

My students are amazing. They are kind, compassionate, empathetic, and good. They advocated for better mental health supports at the high school level, even getting our state legislature involved. They saw a need in the communty and made us better.

My Project

These materials will allow students to learn and practice crafting for better mental health. There is folders for students to make their own journals, as well as the paper and writing utensils needed. The Play-Doh and plushies are perfect for students that need a physical, tactile thing to refocus their minds.

The Wellness Room is a place for students to use during the school day, where they can de-stress and learn techniques to mange stress in a safe and positive manner.

The goal is for students to spend 15-20 min. maximum in the wellness room and then be able to go back to class. The timers in this project will be used to regulate the amount of time spent in the Wellness Room, which means more time spent in class.
