The E-Gaming Experience

My Project

The goal is to use esports as a vehicle to engage students who aren’t involved in traditional athletics or afterschool activities, to increase academic performance/motivation, to create an inclusive community of students that fosters social growth, and to provide students with meaningful opportunities to develop 21st Century skills and career competencies in a novel way.

This E-Gaming experience is also being established with the goal of creating, organizing, and training teams that will play video games competitively on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 consoles against other schools’ clubs and at various events.

The students will play sports as well as other video games that involve strategy and critical thinking skills.

The students will not only learn how to represent themselves, but they will also learn how to represent a school and community.
