My Students
My students are an eager bunch who come from diverse backgrounds. They come to school with big smiles on their faces and excited to learn something new every day! They've proven resilient in the face of constant changes this year. We've had to move classrooms just a few months into the school year. We've also been flip-flopping between in school and remote learning. Through it all, the kids adapt and continue to learn.
However, supplies and supports are limited at our school but our students still need resources.
My Project
Our particular student population greatly benefits from visual cues. I will be able to provide these critical visual cues with the use of a color printer. I want to provide these cues through color photos to go alongside written directions.
This will help them understand routines and academic material.
I can add pictures to checklists and procedures. This will help my students both see and read the expectations of procedures and academic material. I will also be able to print any posters in color which is more appealing and attractive to children.
