Help me give my students a personalized environment that will excite them about learning and enhance every experience. Using a Cricut machine will allow me to design each aspect of my classroom!

My Students

I teach 4th grade in a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina. My students are bright, eager to learn, and full of hopes and dreams. They come from a variety of backgrounds and work together in pairs, small groups, and individually to show mastery in math and science. This is my 26th year as an educator and I hope to provide this group with experiences they will forever remember!

I want this group of students to apply their skills to higher-level thinking and problem solving while self-monitoring their own progress by collecting his/her own data.

Students will work individually, with partners, and in small groups, as they apply these skills.

My Project

The materials in this project will allow me to specifically design every aspect of my classroom. I will be able to create personalized, 3-D, seasonal name tags for each student monthly. The students and I will be able to design ceiling tiles with academic support for them to use when working independently in Math & Science. These materials will be used to label every aspect of the classroom to create a print-rich and detailed environment. We will also be able to design class t-shirts that we can wear as a group and also for field trips.

These shirts, name tags, labels, and designs will promote a positive classroom experience and impact the culture of our classroom.

When children feel connected to their classroom and classmates, they are more eager to come to school which will positively impact student achievement!
